Allen Engineering Suppressors

The AE22 attaches to the weapon via a 5/8x24 thread adapter that goes over the standard 1/2x28 barrel threads. A 20 degree taper on the adapter locks the silencer onto the barrel. Thread adapter and 12th model locating collar included. 

The AE22, AE30 and AEM5 share the same barrel mounting detail.

The AE22 mounts to any MK12 SPR contoured barrel with a locating collar(included), and muzzle thread adapter(included). The muzzle thread adapter insures a proper thread fit, and acts to protect the barrel crown and threads when the suppressor is not installed. The thread adapter is removable, and spares are available for sale.
The AE22 may also be mounted to 5.56 M4 barrels using the M4 AEM5 Collar and the 5/8x24 thread adapter.
